Corn Gulliver

(corn baked in a creamy sauce and topped with cheese)

This is a family favorite my Moeder served for every Holiday

CORN GULLIVER

1 1/2 bags (160z) frozen corn; good quality or the corn will be too chewy

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons sugar

1/4 cup butter

1 tablespoon flour

Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Bring corn, cream, salt and sugar to a boil heat and cook for 5 minute on medium heat.  Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat.  Whisk in flour until smooth.  Add flour mixture to corn mixture and mix well.  Pour into greased 9 inch square baking dish and sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese.  Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until bubbly.
