PARMESAN CHEESE BREAD

Hot Buttery Parmesan Cheese Bread

Thanks to my cousin Kandy, my family has enjoyed this delicious bread for years

PARMESAN CHEESE BREAD

1 loaf french bread

butter, softened

grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

Cut thick slices of french bread.  Butter each side of sliced bread.  Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese between each slice generously.  Wrap in tin-foil and place on baking sheet.  Bake at 375 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes.  Bread should be warm and cheese and butter melted.

Slice bread

Spread each side of sliced bread with softened butter.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese between each slice generously

Wrap in tin-foil and place on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F. for 25-30 minutes

Bread should be warm and cheese and butter melted

I use the leftover bread for steak and meatball sandwiches.  I take a slice of bread and slice it in half.  Warm or toast the bread and place the meat on the cheesy side.  Italian loaf really works great this way.

I’m thinking that the bread and your beautiful Pasta Salad below would be the perfect meal! I betcha that you’re taking that salad to the reunion…it will be perfect.
