Crab Rolls

pastry wrapped around a cream cheese and crab filling


1 can (8oz) Pillsbury refrigerated seamless dough sheet

3 ounces of cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup chopped cooked crabmeat

1 tablespoon chopped green onion

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 egg white


Unroll dough on work surface and cut into 6 rows by 3 rows to make 18 squares. Mix cream cheese, crabmeat, onion and cayenne pepper. Spoon equal amounts of crab mixture on each square.

Place the crab mixture 1/2 inch from 1 corner of 1 square. With the same corner, fold dough over filling, and tuck end tightly underneath filling. Continue rolling to within 1/2 inch of opposite corner. Lightly brush exposed corner with egg white. Roll moistened corner of dough over roll; press to seal. Place on baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray and brush with egg white. Repeat with remaining squares and filling

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes, High Altitude (3500-6500 ft) Bake 12-17 minutes

Chop onion and crabmeat and mix together with cream cheese and cayenne pepper

unroll dough and cut into 6 rows by 3 rows with pizza cutter

Spoon equal amounts of crab mixture on each square

with one corner, fold dough over filling and tuck

brush opposite corner that is exposed, lightly with egg white

 Roll moistened corner of dough over roll; press to seal.

Place on baking sheet and brush with egg white


Serve warm

I love all of your step-by-step pictures and found some recipes I just have to try…. like the poppyseed chicken and the crab rolls. mmmmmm Thanks for doing this, it’s really cool. :o)

O.K….I think you feed Mark very well!
He is a lucky guy. The Crab rolls look gorgeous, as does everything you make. I hope Marks haircut is o.k….didn’t have clippers, but hopefully he can get by. If it works out on Sunday, (time wise)….we could give you a lift, if that would help out??
