CHOCOLATE DIPPED CHERRIES

chocolate or colored candy melts

Maraschino Cherries with stems

chopped nuts

sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

Rest cherries on paper towels to absorb excess juice. Melt candy melts in microwave for 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds until smooth. Dip two cherries together into melted chocolate and cover in nuts or sprinkles.

 

Today I am in my sister’s kitchen with her granddaughter Maci. My sweet little niece is going to demonstrate how to dip cherries.

 

Rest the cherries on paper towels to absorb excess juice

have your dipping bowls ready

dip all the way into the melted chocolate

let the excess chocolate drip off

cover in nuts

keep those cherries close together

place on wax paper

Now for the pink ones with sprinkles
